Can i place the vinyl planks directly on the slab, or do I need to place a flooring underlayment on the slab?


Hi Vulturehead, Thank you for your question regarding the SMARTCORE Ultra Lexington Oak. While a moisture barrier and/or underlayment is not required, we do recommend using SMARTCORE Soft and Sound, which is Lowe's item #1991177. This underlayment has an industry-leading built-in moisture barrier that will help guard against mold and mildew while providing warmth and comfort underfoot. ~MA
