How does this floor stand up to sunlight? Is it dent resistant?

Thank you, Sally, for your question regarding sunlight and durability of SMARTCORE Ultra Blue Ridge Pine LVP! This product has a 12 mil wear layer for scratch and dent resistance. It is recommended that furniture pads be used on the legs/feet of chairs, sofas, and other furniture. For heavy pieces of furniture like a pool table, work out equipment, etc., it is recommended that the flooring be glued-down rather than floated. Also, you will want to avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods, doing so may result in discoloration. So we suggest during peak sunlight hours that you utilize drapes or blinds.
