What do we do when the ice maker hose cracked and leaked on the flooring? We have water in between the planks after getting the exposed water up.

Hi and thank you for your question! SMARTCORE Ultra is designed to be waterproof so long as the water is on top of the floor. Once it's under the flooring, water absorption in the pad is possible and can lead to some concerns including subfloor issues. It is recommended that the flooring be replaced if the attached pad absorbed water. One thing to keep in mind is you don't have to replace the entire floor just the area that was affected by the leak.
