We have a baby grand piano and a heavy organ that will be placed on top of the flooring. Does the floor in this area need to be glued down?


Thank you for your question reagarding installation of SMARTCORE Ultra Blue Ridge Pine under a piano and organ. It would be recommended to glue down the flooring in that room, or at least the area under which these instruments will live, plus a surrounding 2 ft. The recommended adhesive to use is Shaw 200 (1-gal pail, Lowe’s item# 637683).
