Can I install this over existing hardwood floors? If so is there any barrier that needs to be placed on top of existing flooring?

Hello, thank you for your question. There are some additional details to ensure before proceeding with your installation. Do not install material over wood subfloors that lay directly on concrete or over-dimensional lumber or plywood used over concrete. Flooring can be installed over most existing hard-surface floor coverings, provided that the existing floor surface is fully adhered, clean, flat, dry, structurally sound, and free of deflection. Never install a floating floor over a floating floor, this will make an unstable installation and will compromise the integrity of the product.
