I want to use a textured roller to make pattern is this the best stuff to use or will plain drywall work ok then paint


USG Sheetrock Tuf Tex is a good option for applying texture with a roller. You can also add a small amount of water to Sheetrock All Purpose joint compound for hand applied textures. Hope this helps.
