Why is this not ok for appliances, how high of a temperature can this withstand?... front of oven?


Great question! Rust-Oleum Universal Premium Metallic Spray Paint can be applied to a surface that does not exceed 200 degrees F. Appliances tend to be painted with a hard, baked on epoxy coating which is why an appliance epoxy is most often used when recoating appliances. Provided your surface does not exceed 200 degrees F. you can apply Universal Metallic after proper cleaning and scarifying of the surface.
