Thanks for reaching out. Rust-Oleum Universal Advanced Formula Spray Paint can be applied to brass, however since brass is very hard surface be sure to scarify (scuff sand) before application. The best way to apply Universal is two or more light coats a few minutes apart. This application method will provide the best coverage and results. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
