I painted a stainless steel sink with Rustoleum Ultra Cover Metallic Paint. Would you recommend adding this to the project for further waterproofing?


We hate to disappoint, but our products are not recommended for use inside of a sink. This include the Rust-Oleum Stops Crystal Clear Enamel and Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Paint. The concern for this kind of use is that the product cannot handle water immersion and may require you to recoat frequently due to peeling. Our recommendation would be to consider removal of the paint to avoid repainting it often. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1
