Is this safe to use on a dog crate?


We can help you! We don't recommend using Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Metallic Paint on a dog crate because the leafing pigments in the metallic paint can rub off onto the fur. You could use a solid base coat like Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel, however, our recommendation is to leave items in a well ventilated area for one week after painting. This allows for the most complete curing as well as maximum coating hardness.
