Can I spray this in top of wet paint (Rust-Oleum gloss black paint and primer)?


While Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel Spray Paint can be used over previously painted surfaces, it is essential that the coating is in good, sound condition. If the previous coat is new, you will want to ensure that you are following any listed recoat times for the previous coating. If the coating has been down for some time and isn't drying, then it is not a sound base and would need to be removed prior to recoating.
