Can this be used on galvanized pipe?


Happy to clear things up, Jake! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Hammered Paint is not recommended for direct to galvanized metal. The paint will have a reaction that is called, saponification. Basically, the zinc in the metal has a reaction with the paint causing a soapy residue. Essentially, the product will lose adhesion. We recommend that you use a water-based primer prior to applying the Stops Rust paint.
