Can you paint over rubber tire marks


Good question, Denny. While Rust-Oleum Seal-Krete Epoxy-Seal Concrete and Garage Floor Paint can be applied to bare or previously coated concrete, tire marks can potentially cause issues with adhesion if they are not removed. Some tire marks are caused by plasticizers from the tire seeping onto the surface which will hinder a coating from adhering. We recommend lightly scuff sanding the area to remove the tire marks before thoroughly cleaning the floor. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14
