Painted on exterior wood. It rained 5 hour later. Will it be ok?


Hi, Joe! It's best practice to have the Rust-Oleum American Accents 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint protected from rain, dew, and excess moisture for at least 24 hours after spraying to allow it a chance to dry. Rain after 5 hours can lead to water spots and also the paint not curing properly. If the paint seems to have dried and looks fine, all is well. If you have water spots, sand the surface and then wait an additional 24–48 hours to allow the paint to finish airing out before recoating. — Rust-Oleum Product Support 15
