Used on old metal file cabinet partially rusted in places. I washed And lightly sanded, but two areas the primer bubbled up. Anyone know why?


That’s not what we like to hear! Bubbling on the surface with spray products, such as Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Rust Reformer Spray, can be caused by over application of the product of not spraying evenly onto the surface. For the best results, we recommend spraying past the surface with each pass and slightly overlapping each stroke. To correct the bubbling, we recommend lightly sanding the areas, cleaning, and then waiting 24-48 hours before recoating. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
