How long does it take for it to start working and how guickly can you paint after use.


Great question! Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver dissolves rust on aluminum, chrome and new galvanized metal in 3–5 minutes. Porcelain, tile, fiberglass and glass surfaces make take 5 minutes or longer. Allow up to 30 minutes for rust dissolver to work on iron, steel, and unbroken galvanized surfaces. Please also note that heavier rusted surfaces may also need a second application. After use, once the surface has been thoroughly rinsed and dried, the surface can be painted. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14
