Is this product safe to use on iron cookware where the treated iron would come in contact with food?


Thank you for reaching out, if using our Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolve Jelly, it is important to fully rinse and remove the rust dissolver after it has had 15-20 minutes to work on the rust. To prevent flash rusting, dry the surface with a rag after rinsing. This rust treatment is not designed to remain on the metal, so once it is fully rinsed and removed, the surface is safe to use. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14
