Was this Answer Helpful ?There's a good chance it would work, just clean it as best you can, maybe some type of degreaser? Really dry, maybe sand it a little make it a little rough to this stuff will stick better. Guess the worst that could happen is it flakes off that spot. Just keep the extra and stick it on again
Was this Answer Helpful ?no way it does not stick very good .
Was this Answer Helpful ?I would scrub the spot with a good detergent, scrub with clear water, and let dry for at least a week.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Thank you for asking. It is important that the surface is clean and free of dirt, grease, mildew and organic growth. For best adhesion of Restore 10x Advanced, remove the oil and stain and prep with Restore Deck Start Wood Primer first. http://www.lowes.com/pd_667288-90-287517___?productId=50359506&pl=1&Ntt=restore
