Can Restore be used on a outside covered porch that was stained then painted where the paint has come up is spots? What prep is necessary?

It appears that the Rust-Oleum team does not read the WHOLE question. Part 2 was what PREP work would need to be done so that RESTORE 10X could be used. The paint most likely will come up with a power washing. The stain is a bigger problem however there may be a "Prep Cleaner/Acid" that may make it possible to use the Restore 10X. I just wanted to know what and how to make this job right. I am tired of having to attempt to redue this area every year or so. Just wanted some help and that is not what I received.

Happy to help, Pat! Rust-Oleum Restore 10X Advanced Textured Exterior Stain is recommended for outdoor surfaces. We do not recommend it for use on covered surfaces because these conditions can affect the dry and cure times, much like an interior application.
