I used this on steel wheels with high performance primer. 2 coats of each. Does enamel need clear coat? Will a clear coat improve the look/performance


A clear coat is not needed over Rust-Oleum High-Performance Enamel Spray Paint. If a clear coat is used, it can change the appearance if the clear coat’s finish is different. The High Performance Enamel already offers corrosion protection, long-lasting color, gloss, and durability. If a clear coat is desired for extra protection, make sure to follow the recoat times listed on the cans.
