Rust-Oleum Professional High Performance Flat Gray Oil-based Spray primer ( NET WT. 15-oz )
I'm repainting a smoker. Can this primer handle high exterior temperatures that a smoker firebox would create.

Hi Mike, we're happy to help! Our Rust-Oleum Professional Primers and Enamels may be applied to surfaces that will not exceed temperatures of 200°F when heated; a smoker or grill would become too hot. We do offer our Rust-Oleum Auto High Heat Primer, which is also a flat gray primer, and will work on surfaces that reach temperatures up to 2,000°F. Be sure to top coat with the Auto High Heat Paint after priming: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Rust-Oleum-High-Heat-Flat-Gray-Spray-Primer-Actual-Net-Contents-12-oz/3728781 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
