I used the same item. I have a post under reviews of the rustoleum countertop finish (the $23 one) not the expensive kit where I explained what I did and posted result pictures. If you already put a coat on you must totally sand it and wipe the counter clean before you restart. If you bought the expensive kit I would return it and get the cheaper one (it is the exact same item they just added some items and it is not worth over $200. Make sure you use the recommended roller (that is the most important thing). Make sure your countertop is completely sanded and clean before you try again.
