Will this paint transfer heat ? I want to paint the fins on air conditioning coils that disintegrate near the ocean.

Great question! Our Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat Spray is designed for high temperature surfaces above 350°F. Air conditioning condenser coils do get hot, but should only reach about 150°F, which is not a high enough temperature to heat-cure the High Heat Spray. Our general use spray paints have a dry heat resistance of 200°F, however, the condensation often found on condenser coils may cause adhesion loss over time. We also have not tested any of our coatings for this type of application, and since these air conditioning systems are fragile and very specifically engineered, we cannot recommend applying one of our coatings to the coils. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
