Will the "sandstone" paint block sunlight if sprayed onto a clear plastic, or would I need an undercoat of a dark color?


Great question, Jo. An undercoat or primer coat is not required for application of Rust-Oleum Specialty Textured Paint for Plastic. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart to ensure full coverage of the surface in order to block the passage of light.
