Can you spray over existing fireplace tiles if it says flammable on this paint?


Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Textured Sprays are not recommended for surfaces that reach temperatures above 200 degrees or have direct contact with an open flame. The high heat and flame can cause the paint to blister and peel. If wanting to refresh surfaces that are above 200 degrees and stay below 1200 degrees, check out Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat Sprays.
