What are the rails made of? Metal?


Can the fasttrack uprights for adjustable shelving be used with this rail?


What is the depth of the vertical bracket? I have an older silver colored system and just purchased the 9" shelf but the brackets included are too deep to engage the mounting slots before hitting the drywall.


Instructions say": 48" rail must hit 4 studs for maximum weight..." Impossible, since first holes are 1" off edge and studs 16" apart. What do I do?
