How large is the box/boxes this comes in? Will it fit in an SUV?

I have a Ford Escape. The box fits nicely from side to side, but the length of the box is longer than me back of SUV. I put back seats down, and then tied hatch to bumper and made it home without any problems. The box is heavy, so it did not move at all in transit.
