can you install a battery in the Ring spotlight cam plus,Plug in type.& if so do you have to removed the whole unit to replace it or not. Thanks


Hi Pepy. Good question. Yes, the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus offers dynamic switching between plug-in and battery power modes (requires purchase of a Quick Release Battery Pack). If the power goes out, you can switch to a rechargeable backup battery (sold separately) without messing with your setup.
