DOes this take pictures, does it alarm

Hello AJ, Great questions! No, this Outdoor Motion Sensor device does not have a camera inside it. So it does not take any pictures or video footage. As far as alerts go, the device itself doesn't make noise but with a Ring Bridge and proper set up the Ring App could be customized to send audio notifications to your mobile device when movement was sensed.
