Do I have to have wifi for this system to work?


Hi, that's a good question. Yes, an internet connection is required in order to set up and use the Ring Alarm system. You can use wifi or an ethernet connection, but the Base Station utilizes an internet connection in order to communicate with the Ring app. All the best, Ashley from Ring.
