How many of the devices in the package require a batter and can rechargeable batteries be used?


Hi, that's a great question! In the Ring Alarm System, the Motion Detectors and the Contact Sensors use batteries. You're welcome to use rechargeable batteries, as long as they are the correct type of battery. The Keypad has an internal battery that is charged using the provided charging cable, and the Base Station should remain plugged into power at all times.
