Was this Answer Helpful ?The operating and support assemblies mount to the vertical cabinet sides. There is no provision for mounting to the under side of the counter top.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It mounts to the insides of your cabinets. If you have solid wood cabinets it will work great, I had composite cabinets and had to build a couple of mounts. It requires a special cabinet, i.e. one that does not have a drawer above a cabinet. The mixer lift needs to be mounted as close to the bottom of your counters as you can. Again, I modified an existing cabinet by taking out the drawer an attaching the drawer face to the cabinet door. I am a few days away from replacing my cabinets, and getting granite counters. I will be installing a new mixer lift then (will be donating my old one, with cabinet to my mother in-law). If I think of any other tips I'll post them.
