Can this be installed in a cabinet with face frames?


Yes, you will need a more substantial mounting surface then your existing cabinet sides; possibly at least 1/2" plywood. The mounting surface most be on a level plane with the inside of your face frame. I would recomend a piece at least 6" high the full depth of the cabinet (screwed & glued), this should allow you sufficient mounting surface for some flexability.
