I bought a 9600 Watt generator to work with this - Any concerns considering this is rated for 8000 Watts?


I have this product, its not rated for 8000 watts, its rated for 7500.

Be sure that 9600w isn't your PEAK output. Theoretically if you peaked over 8000w for a second for an A/C starting up it wouldn't be detrimental but it can heat up the wire and switches. Appliances only pull what they need make sure your total appliance pull doesn't exeed 8000w.
