Replacing a Therma Tru exterior fiberglass door 18 years old due to jamb rot. Does the lifetime warranty cover the jambs & frame or just the door?


Therma-Tru doors are assembled into frames by local distributors who are certified to pre-hang Therma-Tru doors for their dealers. The door frame, mullion posts, and exterior trim are provided by the distributor and generally carry a one year warranty. When a door frame begins to rot, it will wick over to the edges of the door causing the door to begin to decay. I am sorry this would not be covered by warranty.
