since this is a steel door for exterior use, what is the best type of paint house on it?


Latex paint is used by the door shops that pre-finish doors for Lowes. Lowes sells both Sherwin Wiliams and Valspar paint that would work well on your door. Prefinished options are available through the Lowes CMC special order program. Lowes also has paint specialist that can help you select a paint that is best for the weather conditions your door may encounter.
