Does it open CCW or CW ? What are the dimensions from the cam to the front ?

Opens CCW. The unit is about 3/4" deep. Remember that there are numerous cams included that can be turned over to give you a wide variety of depths.

It opens counter clockwise. The "cam to front" question is hard to answer. Lock is about 0.665" from door face back to where cam attaches. It includes 5 cams stamped 25, 28, 29, 30 & 34. 25 & 29 have shallow S curves with about 0.25" offsets. 25 is about 1.175" long (from pivot axis), 29 is about 1.385". 28 & 30 are very square S shaped. 28 offset is about 0.45" and 1.087" long. 30 offset is about 0.335" and 0.903" long. Add or subtract the offsets from the lock depth depending on how you mount them. 34 is L shaped and is to mate with a tab sticking out into the box with its rear surface about 0.305" behind door front. It is about 0.813" long. Pivot axis is about 0.13" below hole center so cams will extend this much less above / more below the lengths given above.
