What is the max. gap between pipe ends that a 2" coupling can span?


These are pretty generous fittings. The 1" fitting, for example, is 6" long. You need to grab about 1-1/2" of each pipe. That leaves at least a 3" span. Keep in mind that you MUST restrain the pipes from pushing apart, especially if you are only clamping down on the very ends of the two pipes.
