Are any tool to tighten besides pipe wrenches ?


The "real world answer" is, in a pressurized water supply line you may need to use a channel lock pliers to tweak the hand-tightened fitting. That was my experience with the 1" fitting on a 60 psi water line. I'm talking less than and extra quarter turn, however.

Hello, Normal installation only requires hand tightening. Using a Pipe wrench could cause the coupling nuts to crack.
