Can this check valve be use with chlorinated swimming pools?

While PVC can handle chlorinated water, this standard spring-loaded check valve is not designed for continuous exposure to pool chemicals. The internal spring and seals can degrade over time, especially in higher chlorine environments, leading to premature failure. A pool-rated check valve is the better choice for long-term reliability.
