To make absolutely clear something I did not understand from Lowe's product web page, that 3-wire connection is for POWER. That means the "digital display" is on a control AND power unit that also powers the rotation motor via that wire. For some reason I was thinking the control function was wireless as with remote computer keyboards/mice using wifi-like 2.4Ghz signaling, and that power for the rotation motor unit is to be provided from something close by like a power outlet in the attic. Now I have to reconsider the plan I had worked out with the electrician to add a requirement to run that power wire from the rotator in the attic downstairs to the control/power unit along with the antenna cable. Oh well....
