is it a 3 wire or wire hookup


3 wire. you can get it at radio shack or just get the 18 gauge thermostat wire from lowes.

Standard coaxial hook up, only one wire from unit to TV. So if your TV doesn't have a coaxial "in" connection you can buy an adapter at any electronics/hardware store. Not expensive.
