cant get it to wring out-how is it supposed to work?

I attached rags to the head and disposed the rags when dirty. The soft mop head allowed the rags to really strip the grease off.

Mop is wrung out by using the sleeve on the handle

It won't wring out when trying it dry... it needs to be wet. shove the grey handle toward the bottom after it's wet. When I was in the store, it wouldn't work, but I trusted that it would work when wet so I bought it. The manufacturer should say that on the wrapper of the sponge part.

Holding the mop handle in one hand push down on the white grip sliding handle. The sponge is supposed to fold in the middle wringing it out.
