Project Source 5.0 -Spray Chrome 3.75-in Round High Pressure Handheld Shower Head 2.5 GPM
How can I get the shower head to stay straight. It is not 'firm' in the holder.

Loosen the hose at the handle, check the position, then tighten it with the ring, making sure the hose itself doesn't move. If the hose moves, the position will be off. Try adjusting it with cold water, rather than warm.

Be careful when tightening, most of these fittings are now chrome plated plastic and can break when squeezed or tightened too much. You may need two pliers/pipe wrenches; one for the collar and one to hold the part the collar is threaded on to (not the swivel part).
Was this Answer Helpful ?Hi - Don't be afraid to put some pressure on it to push it into the holder a little more firmly. I had the same experience when I first installed it. turn it so it is pointing in the direction you want and firmly put it back in the holder. It should stay. It will of course get better the more you use it and the hose isn't so stiff anymore.
