I bought one and tried it; it will NOT hold anything larger than a double roll. The dimensions given in a different response are totally inaccurate.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Hi! The very back of the paper roll bar is 2 5/8" from the wall; the front of the bar is 3 3/8" from the wall, when closed. It takes our mega-size rolls just fine! :)
