Does this faucet have a sweated connection to supply pipes?

You have the option of sweating and soldering. If soldering the supply lines, remove the rubber O-rings from the union tailpiece assembly, solder, and replace when cool. If threading, cover all male threads with thread sealant tape (wrapped clockwise) or pipe joint compound. Attach firmly but do not overtighten.
