How is the bottom shelf secured?


This is a valid question. The bottom of the 30" cabinet (and maybe others) comes loose in the box and must be installed. It is not pre-attached to the cabinet. So do you just set the bottom of the cabinet in place without fastening or it is recommended to fasten somehow. If so explain.
