How does one set the timer? We have lost the directions and cannot reset this timer.

The tabs around the circle are used to set the duration of on time, you can select the time you want the device to run something by moving the tabs out. (one long continuous period or several on and off periods). You reset the timer by rotating the dual (the circle of tabs rotates) to set to the correct current time. There is usually a switch on the side of the timer to just turn on your item bypassing the timer if you need the item turned on.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The instructions are on the back of the timer itself. To set the timer, pull up all the pins around the edge, and then push in the pins that correspond with the times you want the device to turn on.
