Actually you don't need to seal this floor. It is good as it cams. But a companies who advertise a "new'" stuff for your floor it is wasting yours money. Just be gentle on yours floor and- No problemas Seniora! I do it for living. I do home renovations and bla-bla-bla... (for short)
Was this Answer Helpful ?Depends on where the water is coming from. A> If it leaks from the floor then no you can't. Fix the leak or install a sump pump. /b> If you are talking about spills, then most laminate is water proof and no sealer is necessary, read the direction to find confirming information. c>If the laminate is old and/or badly scuffed then look for a very durable polyurethane to reseal the floor after you follow direction on the polyurethane sealer to prepare the floor.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, they sell a sealer for the flooring, 2 coats of it and it's sealed. They also have a glue to put in the joints for wet areas such as kitchens, baths and entryways. I got the glue and it looks and smells like regular Elmers Glue, I have to go back and get the sealer but after 2 coats of it the floor is waterproof (so it claims).
