Was this Answer Helpful ?We have had two of these that have spent equal time in the barn with our goats and outside, uncovered for over a decade. They look great with no breaks, minimal fading, and still clean up like almost new. We have treated them *very* rough with little care for maintaining them in any way with no problems. We originally used these as our "luggage" for moving overseas and back so they were simply around the farm and have been used for everything from chick brooders to hay feeders to outdoor uncovered storage. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use them outside
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, you can stack the tubs within themselves but the lids will have to stack separately. They too are stackable but do not interlock. They are just placed on top of one another. If you put one lid on the very top tub, you could place the extra lids on top of the locking lid.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes. I actually purchased 5 of these totes. I had them nested in each other when I was taking them to the exit. I also transported them home nested in the back seat of my truck.
